I’m forever looking up the same HTML, named or numeric, character entity references over and over again, doomed to forget them the moment I release Ctrl + V  Does Sisyphus ring a bell? Honestly, how is one supposed to remember … or … for an ellipsis? I never can. The solution? I whipped up a simple HTML document with a table of the characters that I use most often. A desktop shortcut keeps the page within easy reach.

Take a look at my handy-dandy quick‑reference chart. If you find it useful, open the text version, save it in your browser with an html extension, then add your own favorite character entities.
